Business Hall of Fame Laureates
In order to recognise our region's exceptional business leaders; the individuals who are our business 'All Blacks', BKH (Business Kapiti Horowhenua Inc) established an enduring Nature Coast Business Hall of Fame. The first inductees, or Laureates, were announced and recognised at the 2008 Electra Business Awards function.
The Hall of Fame awards are given to living individual business people resident on the Nature Coast whose exceptional efforts in business and the community have had a positive impact on economic growth and business success.
Criteria for their selection includes:

Must have been a senior manager conducting business of a notable scale for a minimum period of ten years

2. |
In the course of their career have demonstrated most or all of the following:
- Business excellence
- Leadership and respect in the business community
- Innovation and/or entrepreneurship in business
- Service to the community at large
