Businesses interested in entering the Awards often like to know who the Assessors are and what their background is - what experience do they have which enables them to come in and discuss your business and how you're running it?

The Assessors' Role

• To evaluate the entry forms

• To arrange face to face meetings with the entrants on their list

• To discuss the answers on the entry form with the business and ensure that the information that has been written and provided is accurate and correct

• To view and evaluate supplementary material that wasn't included with the entry form i.e. if they didn't want to send their financial information in with their entry

• To complete a scoring sheet for each entrant

• To complete a summary feedback sheet (which will be sent to the business after the Awards) 

• If required, to discuss the results and answer questions with the judging panel

Time frame

The assessments will take place from 1 August - 9 September.
