Ron Parkin, Chairman of Business Kapiti Horowhenua, organisers of the Electra Business Awards said:
“These businesses work hard on striving for excellence and this has been reflected in their entry. 54 businesses registered an interest in participating but it’s the following 27 that are now fighting for the honour of being ‘Electra Business of the Year’. It’s going to be an exciting competition with some businesses having entered the competition for a second or third time but for a large majority it’s their first time - and I’m sure they’ll be keen to win the prizes we have on offer from Massey University School of Business, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Kapiti Observer/Horowhenua Mail.”
A team of six assessors, all experienced and successful business people in their own right, will now visit each of these businesses to determine the finalists and will provide written feedback to the entrants (after the Awards night) summarising their findings. |
