The Electra Business Awards encourages and celebrates business excellence in the Kapiti/Horowhenua region. Whether your business is large or small, whether you’re striving for excellence or achieving it, we encourage you to enter!
The Awards attract entrants who want to benchmark themselves, improve their business by working through the strict Awards assessment criteria, or have worked hard to build their business and would like some recognition.

By going through the entry process, entrants have a better understanding of how to run their business – they identify areas for improvement, become more innovative and can ultimately become more successful.
Organised by Business Kapiti Horowhenua Inc since 1993, BKH recognises that the future of Kapiti and Horowhenua will be enhanced by a successful and expanding business sector. The six members who make up the Board put a lot of commitment and personal time towards making this happen and ensuring that each year another successful Electra Business Awards are run.
